----Where the
West meets East
Materializing new ideas is nothing new
to Maggie Cai, the CEO of Dragon Palace
Group. Ms Maggie Cai, in 1999, when
James Street in Northbridge was still a
quite stroll in the day and a sleepy
laneway at night, Maggie opened the
Dragon Seafood Chinese Restaurant at No.
108
James Street, Northbridge. It was then the first large scale
dim sum lunch cum steamboat dinner
restaurant in Perth, catering for
thousands of families missing out on
authentic Hong Kong style dim sum and
steam boat. James Street was never the
same again.
With this inaugral success under her
belt, in 2008 Maggie went on to launch
the biggest Chinese restaurant in town,
the stylish and luxurious Dragon Palace
& KTV in neighbouring Francis Street.
Dragon Palace
& KTV
offers
the widest range of fabulous Chinese
cuisines, the most popular dim sum in
Northbridge and a trendy Karaoke setting
for the young and the young-at-heart.
The long queues on the pavement every
weekend have made this restaurant
literally a landmark in Northbridge.
Now Maggie off to another new venture,
the
Dragon
Palace City Restaurant and Bar
located on the ground floor
of the Woodside Building
on St. Georges Terrace, Perth
newly opened on
Oct.2011. Maggie brings to the west end
a
completely new fusion
Chinese cuisine on the dinner menu, an
inviting bar area and a top-class
service. Needless to say, surrounded by
high-end commercial premises all round,
this joint will become “the meeting
place” in no time.
Maggie would not be able to accomplish
all this without the strong support of
her very capable and experienced team.
Dragon Palace City Restaurant and
Bar offers one of the finest and most
unique selections of Chinese cuisine,
with a twist of western and exotic
influences. The unique design of Dim Sum
train, elegant alfresco, bar and
restaurant areas are ideal for hosting
both private and corporate functions.
